ah, sorry for not clearing that up. I love playing the violin and it's my favorite instrument to listen to. I also like them all mixed up like in string quartets. My favorite solo violin song is "To Love You More" by Lucia Micarelli.

alright, I did vote for the bass... because it gets lower than cello and there are so many styles that it can play with different kinds of groups... I just love listening to it!
