Y did u learn a string?
So y did u learn ur string instrument? I learnt it under my own will. I wanted to learn an instrument because i was finking i was wasting my life, and my spare time could've been used for something more useful. I randomly chose violin because it was different. In fact, i didnt know anything about the violin back then (i thought it was played like a cello ... STUPID ME!) so i chose violin. piano was all too common!

I started playing when i went to a guitar concert here in my country, i thought wow that sounds really cool so i begin learn guitar. :D The funny part of it was that my mom had a guitar which i never payed attention, so and when i decided to start learning my mom gave it as a gift to my cousin, so i had to found another one

Other  I was sort of a mix of all of them. I played piano because I was forced into it (butI quit when I started bass). My own will, I loved the orchestra and wanted to join, forced because my parents would have made me join anyways, Inspired as I said, love the orchestra sound, to blend in (My friends do it). AAnyways, it turned out great!

I was inspired by Bond to pick up an instrument, but it was my own will that pushed me towards the violin. I love the violin, because of its beautiful voice. I learned towards the cello at first, but I ultimately chose violin 'cause of its versatility. I think picking up the violin has changed my whole life. I've met so many nice people through it, whether it be at my classes or at school, on the internet or just randomly. I've been given the opportunity to appreciate classical music and it has further fueled the anglophiliac in me! :P

At first TotallyString started violin... then I wanted to join too. It's fun and people are simply 'attracted' to the orchestral strings. Guitar in the other hand (I'm not trying to offend any guitarists!) is a whole lot common and people don't really pay as much attention listening. Guitar is a whole lot easier to play though... probably why it's more common with schools. Our school only has 7 orchestral string players, but there's like 40 people learning guitar and probably another 30 people too who play it.

Well that's true, almost everyone knows how to play guitar, because its easy to learn the basics, even though not a lot people really get into it, i mean guitars have a lot of easy things to play, but if you really want to get into it, it requires time and dedication as any other instrument. :)

At first I was inspired, but then after somewhat years when I wanted to quit, my dad forced it apon me. My Papa always made me do the violin, but one day he finally let me quit, then I met Bond! ^__^ and we can all figure out the story from there hehehe....
