i would suggest when playin the first e, dun use open string, but the forth finger, so you can do a vibratoo, but ma violin teacher says, try ur best to avoid open strings, the sounds are more....i dunno, but in scales etc, he tells me to use forth finger so i would suggest that ;)

open strings are feral. i do not like them. especially E. i try to avoid them as well :P LoLz

most of the open strings are usually ok, its just the E, as u say, is feral
