wow bass case, cello lessons! hope you'll have a lot of fun! i just finished music camp, and now i have a sudden interest in double bass. it seems so chunky, big and looks like a whole block of caramel chocolate -YUM! okay...now im scaring yas!

oh yeah... remember that conversation we had once about which string instrument looks the best to eat?? lol i'd love to be able to play the electric guitar, the piano and the saxophone!!!

It was a state music camp. Not too big. It was real fun! There were 4 orchestras. My one only had 2 basses lol. I recall a funny convo I had with one of them Me: The bass is so low, can you even hear yourself play? Bassist: Solo, I can, but during orchestra sessions no. Sometimes the conductor will say "Great playing basses", but most of the time, we didn't even play! LoLz. I still love the bass!

it is so true. I can't hear myself when I play with a larger orchestra. Either because the other strings are so loud, or the other basses are so loud that I just blend in.

I played drums in Middle School and it got old really fast, I was wanting to play the Obeo but our school didn't carry the stuff for them, Right now I would want to play either the Obeo, Bassoon, Cello, or a Steel Drum.

I wish I could play cello and follow Gay-Yee's footsteps

i only play violin but i have aspired to be a cellist, by playing elgar's cello concerto theme with one finger on my friend's cello! Lol!

yeah i have friends who play all sorts of instruments... so im an aspiring pianist cellist oboist trumpet player flautist... none of which i can really play much on except piano and maybe sort of cello too i think i will stick to violin
