Washing Bow Hair
Does anybody know how to wash bow hair? My vio teacher told me you can, but never taught me how. currently my bow hairs are dirty and turning black at the tips. i know its normal, but it just bothers me, and i dont wanna buy a new bow!

the black are good, well not good, but show people that you practise heaps, and that you play lots, but if its that annoying, i guess a cloth mite get it off (well i changed by bow(when i got new violin) so i havent experienced it yet)

you can get ur bow hair cleaned at the places u get ur bows from...thats what i do!

1. You can go get it proffessionally cleaned 2. Get your bow rehaired 3. Buy a bow grooming kit, (Comb, cleaner, cloth, etc.) Or you can try to keep it clean by not touching the hair at the tips, if its getting BLACK then thats really bad, brown is ok, but black?
