the 4 seasons
which of vivaldi's 4 seasons do we like the best? i like spring, not because itsc common, but because of the melody. If you haven't heard all the seasons b4, go to www.classicalarchives.com, sign up and listen to their MIDIs :) Im not very fond of winter, but the middle is ok

iv been obseesed with four seasons for a while, I LUV EM ALL, spring summer autunm and winter but i voted winter becuase it has that VIVA section, wich sounds awsome, and i like the third section of summer, cause vannessa mae plays it... VOTES GOES TO WINTER!!

i also like autumn... summer is probably my second favourite and then autumn and spring are a tie but i love winter... probably because its the one i can play lol

its a very famous tune, quite tricky to play though! takes a long time to get right

I love Winter the most. It's an absolute masterpiece! I love the "Viva!" section and the beginning of it :D. What I really admire about Winter is that Vivaldi actually put effort into writing the viola part (I hate pieces where it seems as though the composer just made up the viola part in a few seconds).

wow, December 2004 is when i posted a repl about teh 4 seasons, i guess my thoughts have changed, i now like summer more, Just the .....itsa soo good!, Presto is always my fav, THe adagio is very nice as well, and teh first movement, omg, watch nigel kennedy perform it and u shall fall in love with it. but its soo good. but winter is not far behind, i sitll love it, end of third movement, omg thats soo fab

my opinion about winter hasnt changed... but i DID see NIGEL KENNEDY playing the four seasons live in march... which was AMAZING and i just thought this would be the place to say that!

I love the Presto movement of Summer! :D
