i havent snapped any string yet!! but ma pegs are really bad, u turn it once and it makes the msot horrible noise, i get soo scared (note its the e peg)

. i really hate it when my pegs are stubborn and dont move. however, my teacher applied soap to them and now they move freely :)

okay, its not that big of a deal when strings pop.. anyways, the only string that has a fine tuner is my a, so i can get my a just right, then tune my other strings w/ the a. So i have ALOT of practice w/ pegs.

Yea, it depends what brand what string what instrument. If its a bass or piano string, then yea, it can get really expensive.. I can only imagine piano strings...

yea really, piano strings hardly ever snap, i dont think its even possible while tuning, you would have to be the hulk to break it while tuning...
