And i was thinking that totally string should have a website.. Not JUST a forum.. Just my opinion.
I have thought of making an actual website for TotallyString. I can make one, but I'll have to do it when I have time.
I've decided to host the site on FreeServers. It's the only service I've used. Since we're going to be uploading all sorts of files, I've had to choose FreeServers. Bravenet doesn't allow you to upload all file types, not even pdf; the one I'm going to use a lot. Tripod just spams your pages with banners. There have been many people complaining about Angelfire that their sites have been deleted for no reason. Does anyone here use FreeWebs? If you do, can you give the details of what the file size upload limit is? I tried finding these details but it's hidden somewhere in FreeWebs...

You'll have better control of your website if you know HTML. On my hermit crab website, I've used a few scripts. But FreeServers tried hiding them from me, but I eventually found them and downloaded them onto my site so I could format it myself and took off the ads on the poll :)

I've stopped using the SiteBuilder, that was way to CRAPPY for me. You couldn't add buttons nor format the colours, and when I got my hands on the File Manager, the action begun!

I know HTML very well, i have a website, a new version of my sheet music webby, maybe it can be the totally string site as well? www.freewebs.com/harrypotter495 and i pay for the premium services. Its in HTML mode, so no web editors =) Thats another reason i need to raise money, website expenses (see my other topic in the totally string area)
