Boston
So I kinda randomly came back today to visit and saw that there was a post about nobody posting anymore. So heres a post for anyone that still visits. I suppose its an update. All-State was fun. I was first chair bass in the honors band. Band was REALLY different than orchestra. But I was suprised by how challenging and fun it was. The music was great. I had such a good time that I'm going to be in my school band next year. On Thursday I'm leaving for Boston. My orchestra is participating in a competition there. All of the basses from my school made the Honors Orchestra for the trip, which is pretty exciting. We're playing Finlandia by Sibelius and Nabuco Overture by Verdi. I think that we get to play with some of the Boston Pops too, but I'm not really sure. That's pretty much it. I went cello shopping the other day, but I didn't buy anything, so there really isn't anything to say. Let me know what you guys are up to!
