BOND - EXPLOSIVE
just wondering, to those who know how to play explosive wat positions do you use, i use second positions then stretch my fingers to play the high notes (i got big hands :)) then come bak to second position to finished it off btw im talking about the...Riff (i think thats was we would call it,...)

i love explosive myself, but just a word of advice... NEVER DO IT SOLO!!! argh it's excruciating. you need like a second violin/viola to do the melody an octave lower to pace it out, you know wat i mean?

playin ny ur self is alright, jsut performin it by ur self will be awkward, havein a whole quartet then thall be aaight, i play first violin, explosive is soooo easy, i wanna learn fuego

its great to play by urself with the CD but i think the whole quartet without the CD (explosive i mean) has a good sort of a different sound to it

When playing Explosive, remember to play ALL the flats. I remember playing Explosive with totallystring but he refused to play all the flatted notes, and the whole thing sounded completely wrong LoL.

yer lol. ohh and the sheet music of wintersun was WRONG. it had many mistakes on it and ill point em out (no offence to the writer) - during the end, there's a repeat of the melody (you know?) - second violin DOES NOT do the same as first violin. second violin does an octave lower of the first to pace it out. - viola DOES NOT do second violin's bit, as said in the sheet music. and even if it did, it wouldn't be able to play its background music - second violin joins in with first violin LATER, not during the start, and instead, does some round of middle Cs - cello does not do the viola's background music in 8va-lower, well according to the performance. instead, it goes back to its normal beat. i think it only does it in its recording - violin and cello do not the chorus. the two violins do. this leaves the viola and cello doing the g to a flat thing, in which the viola does g-a flat with chords to middle C, and the cello may do the lower C or the D (it varies) and theres HEAPS more but i cant list them all lol

winter-sun....??? i dun remember seeing winter sun, iv got all the sheetmusic off wintersun and its not there, plus lena from viva hasnt even composed it so it shoudent even be there.....??

bwahahaha, i thought u were tlakin about the song 'wintersun' and im like, WTF!!! yeh, explosive has sun errors errrm, second violin dosent play one octave lower... in the end viola dosent play the long notes, instead it does a similar part to cello part, and yes the chorus was the 2 violins, but if you listen, the 'gggg.gggg' 'gfgfgfgf.gfgfgfgf' is rather high, so it is a possibility that one violin was to play it. and in the end, second violin dosent play wat the sheet music says, it plays same as first violin,

it plays an octave lower in the ending, coz if u watch the video, you see Eos reaching over to the G string for the ending :P
