What does an amplifier look like? How do they work?

havent u seen guitar amps before, like a huge black box, well, not always huge, depending on what size amp u get, and simply for a guitar, u have a lead and plug it from your guitar to the amp, and your sound amplifies, for violin, u have a pickup connected to your violin, so sumthin will connect to the bridge or a microfone type thing will be near the bridge, and then u plug the lead into the violin and into the amp, and the amp will amplify your music
