So All State starts in one week. I am pretty excited. Oh no I'm not, I'm absolutely bursting with excitement! I just thought I would come on and tell you all the pieces we will be playing. All-State Orchestra: Mars - Holst, Russlan and Ludmilla Overture - Glinka, Star Spangled Banner - ? Honors Orchestra: Pines of Rome - Respighi, La Forza del Destino Overture - Verdi, Star Spangled Banner - ? Those are all I can remember. I know that the All State orchestra has another piece, but I don't know the name. I am hoping to be in the Honors Orchestra because the music is so amazing and it would be a wonderful music experience. But I would be happy with a chair in the All-State Orchestra as long as I am not one of the last chairs.
